We completed a horizontal fence installation and sliding driveway gate in McKinney, TX. The project also included a LiftMaster SL 3000 gate opener.
Horizontal wood boards carry the same design across the fence and driveway gate. The gate has a wood-faced side and exposed dark metal framing on the opposite side.
Horizontal wood boards create a consistent fence line between the metal posts.
The finished wood surfaces have visible grain and knots, with golden-brown tones that vary from board to board. Vertical wood trim crosses the horizontal boards, and a wood cap follows the top edge.
Shorter horizontal fence panels supported by metal posts run beneath the covered patio. Taller wood fencing stands beyond them.
The gate’s dark metal perimeter frame and vertical framing members are visible from the driveway side. A metal track runs along the concrete beneath the gate.
We installed the sliding driveway gate with horizontal wood infill.
The gate spans the driveway opening beside the covered parking area.
